Exhaust gas
The decoupling of engine vibrations and movements of the exhaust system are the main functions of the flexible elements that are installed in the exhaust system. Decoupling elements are designed and optimised for each application and are produced in different forms. Hose joints, for example, are very compact and self-supporting. Hoses are employed to compensate larger movements. Depending on the requirements, different variants with mesh or braiding and different liner variants are employed.
